ABOUT

Hello and welcome to my very own virtual art gallery feel free to have a look through my portfolio and artworks! Currently completing my third year of a Fine Art degree at York St John University, I'm planning on taking a year out to build up my portfolio and experience in galleries. I like to work in various different mediums; which predominantly involve prints, photography, paintings and collage all of which display vibrant colours and unconventional processes. My most recent work can be seen as symbolising the subconscious of our dreams and nightmares within  ghostly paintings. The subject of my photography comes from close ups of insignificant objects, discarded pieces of work or sometimes places. I particularly like to experiment and distort them by reflecting them, making the ordinary and mundane into something extraordinary. My work has developed into prints which have been presented at York Art Gallery and widely enjoyed. Through this I have gained experience working in a open studio and had the opportunity to  co-produce work with members of the public, in which I love to get everyone an anyone involved by sharing my art making processes.
